Time to settle this once and for all

I freely admit that I have absolutely no idea what to write for today’s post. Instead of blathering on about nothing of consequence, I shall instead attempt to answer the age old question: What is the best kind of pizza?

Yes, I know there aren’t many options — it would only let me enter five. Feel free to add your own! The winning pizza will be crowned King of Pizzaland.

  1. I still rather have ice cream

  2. I choose other. Deluxe or Combo depending on who makes it. You have to have the vegetables and the meat for it to be a pizza!

  3. Soppressata, bocconcini and fresh basil. Thin crust. Substitution of proscuitto is acceptable as well. There’s this place I go, OMG, they make it perfectly.

  4. Other: Free

  5. I’m sorry, but unless you’ve been to New Jersey, you haven’t had pizza. You got a prollem widdat?

  6. I couldn’t careless for pizza. . .however I do love Def Leppard! Good media choice, Michelle!

  7. I voted for meat-lovers, but that’s just in support of my carnivorous homies, and because I think Hawaiian pizza is THE NAST. When I order pizza, I always get Pepperoni & Banana Peppers, with extra sauce. Mmm.

    • Lol should I be worried that you have carnivorous homies? I take it you dislike the pineapple aspect of Hawaiian? I don’t really care one way or the other for the pineapple — I always get Hawaiian because I get it with bacon, and then the pizza deal always has another topping (like 3 toppings for $12.99 or whatever), and it feels silly to get double bacon, so I’m like, “Eh, whatever, pineapple me”. Banana peppers! Never thought to put that on a pizza, although I suspect it would be spicy and delicious.

      • Lol! Hey, there are vegetarians, and then there are people who are the opposite of vegetarians. I am not that, but close. x) And yeah, sorry. Just never could get the taste for fruit on a pizza. It’s just… not natural. *shudder* Banana peppers are DELICIOUS. They’re not spicy at all, they’re more… I can’t even describe them. They didn’t have banana peppers in Ireland, and I failed at trying to tell people about them there as well. xD But they’ve revitalized my love of pizza. 🙂

  8. Mmmm. Pizza…

Pizza maker’s challenge: Half Meat Lovers and half Vegetarian with alternating slices and no cross contamination! 😉

No, Hot & Spicy is by far the best. Not just my favourite. It’s THE BEST! Closely followed by Meat Lovers. 🙂

    • Now I need to try a spicy pizza to see what all the fuss is about. My mother can’t handle spicy food, so growing up we always had very bland pizzas, and it’s never even occurred to me to try something a bit more daring. Today this changes!!! Well, not today — today is sushi day. But perhaps tomorrow?

Um … your challenge is doable, but I think the pizza would end up suffering as a result, because you’d need to put the veggies/meat far enough inside the boundaries of each slice that they wouldn’t be touched during the slicing process, which would mean a decrease in overall topping quantity.

      • Yeah, go wild, live dangerously! Have a spicy pizza! 😉

The challenge: Probably not worth the trouble. May as well mix it all up and throw in some seafood and call it a Supreme (aka one with the lot)

  9. Nothing beats Ham and Pineapple 🙂

  10. I went with other! I love shrimp pizzas, and there’s also a pizza I like with spicy strips of chicken and barbecue sauce. I love cheese pizzas too, though some are more delicious than others. =D

    • Shrimp! Hadn’t even thought of that. You don’t find that a lot in North America — I think it’s a more international thing. When I was in South Korea, they had really weird pizza. The cheese pizza had corn on it, and the deluxe pizza had shrimp and mayonnaise. It was … weird, lol.

  11. They could be a consortium?

    • Idea overload!!! Imminent danger plushies would be awesome. But … what species would I make a plushie of? The only really cuddly one is Claktills, and even they’re kind of humanoid. Jsgarns would just be icky. Ideally we’d make moofas, but Eris doesn’t encounter a moofa in the first book so that doesn’t work. Hmm …

  12. Pepperoni all the way 🙂

  13. I know this is a pizza thread, and I already voted for pepperoni, but I had to jump in here today to show you something, Michelle. A fun girl I follow made galaxy shoes! I can soooo see you making these in the colors of your book and wearing them. (or maybe not) But I had to show you – just in case! http://superkatwins.wordpress.com/2013/03/10/i-diyed-shoes/

    • That’s so cool!!! I’d love to have a pair of those in Imminent Danger colours! The only problem is that those kind of shoes really hurt my feet — the toes pinch, and it happens even when I get a larger size. Sad face 😦

  14. Love your video. In my late teens I used to DJ at parties and what-not. All my friends called me “sugar” cause they said I was way too sweet to be out with the likes of them. So anytime they would introduce me to start DJing, they would play that song and I knew it was time for me to hit the booth with my pile of records. LOL. Fun facts

    • That’s awesome! And what a sweet (pun intended) intro song 😀 I’ve always just liked it because it’s a great song, but now I like it for a whole new reason. Wait, so if they called you Sugar, was your DJ name DJ Sugar?

  15. Atreyu Crimmins

You have married two of my favourite things in one post: pizza and Def Leppard. For that you get a like and my eternal admiration. Not bad for a day’s work huh?

    • Not bad indeed. Time for your Def Leppard pop quiz — what’s their preferred pizza type? (Note: I have absolutely no idea what the answer is, so I’m hoping you do, lol)

      • Atreyu Crimmins

I haven’t the foggiest. Cheese and psilocybin mushrooms? With fresh herbs? That’d be my choice 😉
