This is of course a depiction of Varrin’s second rescue of Eris and Miguri, post-Chakra Corp. My favorite parts include: Miguri just totally done with the entire situation, Eris literally glaring daggers at Varrin, and Varrin being perplexed as to how anyone could fail to love him without reservation.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actual literal drawing of someone glaring daggers, so it was a fun surprise 😀
Closest I can remember is Judge Doom in Roger Rabbit.
I actually got that those were metaphorical daggers, rather than actual weapons. The look on her face is the key (plus remembering the scene, of course).
I wasn’t 100% certain. Figured the character could have been an illusionist or something like that.
