The first teaser trailer for the new Star Wars movie is here! And yes, I’m aware this has nothing to do with writing, but I’m just so excited that I need to share it right now. And actually, it is technically writing-related, as someone had to script the teaser trailer. Woo! Connection!
Without further ado …
PS: My IndieGoGo campaign is still running — snatch up a copy of Imminent Danger And How to Fly Straight into It today! Or just bask in the awesome that is the Star Wars teaser trailer. Either one is good with me!
I think I’m an old fogie because I’m only familiar with those three classic Star Wars movies released back in the day. All this prequel, sequel stuff confuses me to no end. Still, it’s a credit to the power Lucas’s story that people are still captivated today. 🙂
I think we’re all a bit bemused by the prequels 🙂 But this new sequel takes place AFTER the original trilogy, and does feature Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, so it might be worth watching just to see that trio in action again!

My inner geek was in dire need of an “awesome” injection.
Damn straight. And this is about as awesome as it gets.

Omg, omg, omg!!! I can’t hardly wait!!!! It actually doesn’t bother me that my book relaunch got buried. It’s freakin Star Wars with Han Solo!! Worth it!
It’s so exciting!!! I can’t believe they managed to talk the original cast into coming back — talk about a dream come true.
Also, reblogged your post about your book launch — congrats, and hoping it doesn’t get too buried in all the Star Wars hype 🙂
Love, love, that new light saber. So cool. I feel like a kid again just watching this brief teaser. I hope this erases the foul taste of the prequels. In J.J. I trust.
And if he does let us down, he will be forever known as Jar Jar Abrams.
So true and so funny. Misa Mr. Abrams!
