Thanks for sharing! Hope people find it helpful.

  2. Haha, those questions gave me a laugh, considering most of those get a “yes” in fiction. Still good points to watch out for. A bit here and there is okay. Too much and it screams mary sue/ gary stu. And wait, what?? They’re two days to Nano? Jk I knew that lol…and I still need to decide on my POV, gah. Thanks for the share!

    • First person omniscient narrator. Do it. “I wake up on Saturday morning and I KNOW EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

  3. Just wanted to say ‘thanks’ for this post. I did the quiz… I scored a ‘1’. And here I was, thinking I’d written the biggest Mary Sue in existence! I guess not – she’s just a bit of a wimp. Luckily, I’m taking steps to rectify this disgusting situation. πŸ™‚ Hope the 9-5 is going well for you.

    • Hahaha are you trying to make a Mary Sue? I think I want to read this book πŸ˜€ And the 9-5 is going well enough. I’m getting a shocking number of free lunches out of it – three to date, and counting. Offices spend a silly amount of money on catering.
